Bed, linens, towels first class, at least in room 301. Location for theaters and restaurants is perfect. Free parking!
This is basically an old, funky SF downtown motel. But location is everything.

The location was magnificent and unbeatable for San Francisco, so close to more congested downtown areas, the centre and fabulous restaurants around the corner. Popped in Absinthe Brasserie & Bar for shots before sleep, it was relatively near the venue. The breakfast offered fresh bread, cereal, yoghourt, and fruit.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was basic, but complete and good. The hotel staff tried to provide us with everything we needed during our stay.
hotel is close to downtown San Francisco and center is full of homeless people, many of them with serious mental health and drug addiction problems. truth is that it's not very pleasant to walk around in that area and you have a great feeling of insecurity: there are people lying on the sidewalks, people using crack in the middle of the street at any time of the day, people talking to themselves... In fact, my husband was attacked by a mentally ill man on a public bus first thing in the morning, with a bus full of people. It's a shame because San Francisco is a very beautiful city but it's very dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, really: it's the most unsafe city I've ever been in.

Really nice room. Good location - close to City Hall, MUNI buses, etc. Easy access to and from freeway. Parking is limited and some spaces are a bit tight but it is still fine. Nice restaurants nearby (e.g. Absinthe).
Nothing really. It did not have a laundry facility but there was a laundrette a block away.
